PATH maintains a vital resource for the local community in the Rapid Re-Housing program. With the assistance of PATH’s Housing Advocate, the Rapid Re-Housing program provides the following resources to program participants:

  • Deposit & Rental Assistance – a one-time security deposit and monthly rental assistance for a fixed period based on assessed vulnerability, household needs, and verified income.
  • Application Fees – assistance with application fees for rentals for approved program participants.
  • Housing Search Resources – Housing Advocates will provide a program overview and guidance on searching for a home and information on local landlords and property managers.
  • Moving Assistance – in some cases, assistance with moving may be necessary and may be approved at PATH’s discretion based on funding and staffing availability.
  • Case Management – home visits by a Case Manager or Housing Advocate for development of a housing stability plan.
  • Support Services – additional resources for support with linkage to mainstream benefits and referrals to partner agencies and organizations.

Program Eligibility:

  • Homeless Documentation – you must be “literally homeless” as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
  • Verified Income – you must provide a verified income and be “low income”.

Location Restriction – you must be seeking housing within Tehama County.
