Linda Salvador
My goal is to do as much as possible for as many as I can.
My first Social Services job was in Oregon after moving from the San Francisco Bay area. I was a receptionist for Legal Aid, a client intake worker and later a Paralegal. I became a receptionist at the Juvenile department while working as a court appointed special advocate through the Children’s Advocacy Center.
I earned a one-year Juvenile Corrections certificate and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice. I worked as an administrative specialist under the Corrections department in the Sex Offender program.
During the 40 years I lived in Oregon, I coordinated a food bank for two years and was on a planning commission, and a Citizen’s Advisory committee.
I moved to Red Bluff in 2017 as a permanent resident and became the coordinator of the homeless ministry at my home church. My job was to see that meals were delivered to the PATH Winter Shelter once a month. I have become involved with Food Share of Tehama County, The Gleaners food bank, and Tehama County Community Action.
I have recently joined the PATH Board of Directors.
